Thanks for sharing the link to “May I Introduce.” I really enjoyed getting to know you better. I like your approach and suggestions about creating rules for yourself before starting blogging. As my current blog winds down, I’m currently working on designing my forthcoming blog and this is really good advice. I’ve thought a lot about “lessons learned” over the course of the four years with A Hundred Years Ago–but I now realize that’s probably just the first step and that I need to be creating some informal “decision rules” that will guide me as I work on the new blog.

Thanks for the kind words, Sheryl. I’ve been following the development of your next blog with great interest. I found myself thinking about the same types of decisions over and over when I got started, so it was really helpful for me to set some guidelines, move forward, and stop spinning my wheels. You can always adjust your own “policies” later as needed.
