Today, May 18th, is the birthday of my maternal grandmother, Katherine Adams Lessiack. She was born in 1920 in Idaho, and she died at the age of 92 in the Republic of Panama, where she lived her final years with my Mom. I don’t know how old she is in this picture, but it’s one of my favorite images of her. So many of the treasures in my archive I have because of her–she kept everything. Happy birthday, Grandma Kathi!
